neilgillespie:
I’m pleased to announce I’m showing some new work at Black Bear Cafe in Belfast over the Christmas break. The series is based on a nineteenth century instructional book on how to do some serious hand shadows. The work’s only up and available for one night so drop in, have a look, drink some wine and we’ll take it from there.
If you’re going to be in Belfast this Christmas you need to get your sweet self down to see this lot. Neil gave us a sneak peek the other day and they are all AMAZING. Go Neil go.
My new Albam Christmas illustrations are now up in their lovely, lovely shops. Woop woop.

IT’S CHRISSSSSSSSSTMAS! Come sing along to your favourite festive beats and fill up on mince pies and mulled wine. It’s going to be a guaranteed right good time.
I just saw some pictures of my artwork made into enamel badges for the NYC Tweed Run. Fun fun funnnnn.

Complete. Part 2 — Semblance installation, Truman Brewery, London 2011
So so so so excited to see this.
Haha, the Albam man made it on to the Time Out blog. Woop.
Here’s some fresh new stuff that I’ve been collaborating with menswear dream brand Albam Clothing on. This is from a series explaining why Albam jeans are so great; describing the process of sourcing the Japanese denim, having them crafted into wonder-trousers here in England, through to the very happy owner getting to wear them, hence this little illustration of a nice Albam clad man on his hot wheels. You can see the whole lot of them on the walls of the new Monmouth Street shop. I haven’t seen them yet so I hope they look nice.
If you don’t know Albam, go check them out. I wish I was a man.
(Just kidding)

I don’t often post my own work on the blog - that’s what my portfolio is for - but I felt this was relevant given today’s significance. This was an image I created for the British Royal Legion’s members magazine to act as their November cover.
Steven Bonner is a typographical whizz kid. Ace image for a very special day.
Nice little mention from Tim Ridley (Coffeesmiths dream cafe creator). You should totally read his blog. It’s really rather interesting.
